McMurray Rotary Club History
The McMurray Rotary Club was formed by an active group of young business leaders in 1965. The Club serves the Peters Township area through the postal address of McMurray, which is a portion of the township named after the original family who settled in our area.
Our Club Charter
Over the years our Club has evolved with Peters Township, which has grown from an old, but sparsely populated rural/exurban community of a few thousand people in 1965, to over 23,000 people today. Our members represent all segments of township society, professionals, business owners, managers, government officials, old, young, men and women - all of whom share the desire to help improve the lives of our fellow citizens - around the world!
